This was fun to use... Animoto will only let you create a 30" free one, but I did not try the other websites given to us on the ECAP website to see if it would cost or let me produce more videos.  This would be a cool thing to present at Back to school night for the parents to see different projects that we will be doing throughout the year!!  Very cool!

Feedly RSS

     Besides having my initials, RSS: Ryan Scott Schultheis, this would be the only thing that I liked about this website or information.  I think that RSS feeders and feeds like this just clog up your blog and make it hard to read or give it to much information.  I signed up and went through and tried to look at some interesting topics, but most of the information I found was older and usually never gave the full story.  I would not recommend putting an RSS feeder on your page.  I think PLN would be good for teachers to use on topics or past students examples, but not connecting it to RSS feeders.

Google Form

Google Form Experience:

     I have used google form in the past in my classroom so i was able to utilize the same google form, since i already know how to create one, and make a survey for individuals and students to use after visiting my blog and using my blog for an informative reference.  I think google form and docs is a great program to use in school and should be used more!!  I had fun making this!!

     Today I created a Pinterest.  I was able to get on and look up cool Biology Labs that I could use with my kiddos eventually.  There is a lot of good information on there to use for Biology, Science, Worksheets, and really anything in general.  My wife and I are having a baby, so there are a TON of ideas on there to look up for the baby room and themes for the baby room!  Great Idea to connect my blog to this as well!

Glogster....Professional...?

     I just used my first round of Glogster.  I like the program!  It makes it fun and interesting to learn information and present information.  I could see my students getting into this with mini research and presentation projects.  I like how you can develop your own style of pictures, videos, and formatting. I will more than likely use this glogster with  my students some day!!  Good call! ;-)

     Here is a test post for my ECAP program.  I have learned how to set up a blog with blogger and add certain gadgets and posts to my page to make it the way I want it.  I enjoy blogging and think that this will only enhance my students experiences in Biology by using technology and blogging!
