Tips for Newbie Teachers

• Develop a schedule
• Develop a routine in the classroom
• YOU ARE THE ADULT/ TEACHER
• Never, I mean, NEVER give into a student.  STAND FIRM!
• Rules are Rules.. NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Respect your students and they will respect you!
• Follow your rules and the school's rules, but have FUN!!
• Enjoy what you are teaching.  IF you are bored teaching, they are bored learning!
• DEVELOP fun ways of teaching the "boring" stuff.
• NOTES are boring.. COME UP WITH SOMETHING FUN.
• Classroom management will either make your year easy or a living hot, fiery place! :)
